Romy Lagodka

I am a transdisciplinary artist and researcher. My practice explores embodied approaches to collective cultural practices and reenchantment. Through participatory and performative methods, I create experiences that nurture deeper connections between humans and the more-than-human world.

Focusing on themes of regeneration, imagination, collectivity, commoning and relationality, my work often engages with living materials like soil to explore co-creation. By integrating insights from traditional knowledge systems, scientific research, and artistic experimentation, I invite audiences to reimagine their relationships with ecosystems and recognize the vital exchanges that sustain a fulfilling human life.

As a transdisciplinary practitioner, I am dedicated to fostering cultural shifts toward the era of the Symbiocene. With a background in film and media arts and a current focus on systems thinking in her Masters at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development, I bring a holistic perspective to my work. Based in Berlin, I continue to contribute to dialogues on systemic regenerative cultural practices.
