Workshops and trainings
We design and facilitate high-quality, engaging, holistic workshops and trainings for change.
Over the years both as collective and individuals we have designed and facilitated a large variety of workshops, trainings, and courses.
We offer both unique workshops tailored to the specific needs of communities and organisations we work with and open workshops.
All our workshops and courses explore inclusive and transformational leadership and workplaces, building just and equitable relationships while connecting practices with social and ecological justice.

INCLUSIVE LEADERSHIP WORKSHOP
The workshop is designed for people in leadership positions (leading teams, taking decisions that affect others etc.) who want to deepen their knowledge about diversity, inclusion, just and transformational leadership practices in the workplace context, and expand their toolbox for leading in inclusive ways.
Through a thoroughly crafted combination of input parts, self-reflection exercises, mutual exchange and creative tasks participants:
acquire knowledge about basics of diversity and inclusion in organisational setting - terms, trends, and good practices;
learn, reflect and exchange about Inclusive Leadership - what it means, how it looks like and how to practice it;
Acquire tools and insights for handling difficult situations in an inclusive and equitable way.
INSIDE(R)/OUTSIDE(R) IN COMMUNITY ENGAGED ART
The workshop is created for artists and creatives of different disciplines who work or aspire to work with communities. It is designed as a space for exploring the role of arts in fostering social justice, reflect on the impact of (social) positions, personal life journeys, and power dynamics on artistic practice, and tapping into tools and insights for creating meaningful, context-sensitive and equitable relationships and connections, when engaging with communities (in a broad understanding of this term).
The workshop is based on interactive and self-reflective exercises to facilitate introspection processes and conversations about building relationships across differences, with a particular focus on community-engaged artistic practices. Participants are invited to explore their life-journeys and positionality, reflect on their previous community oriented artistic practices, work with different case studies of community-engaged art, and exchange and learn about tools and practices that can be applied in working with diverse communities and entering spaces as an “outsider”.
BUILDING BLOCKS FOR EQUITY AND INCLUSION WORK
The workshop addresses anyone in an organisation, who is interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the various aspects regarding diversity and inclusion, both in organisational context, and more broadly. It will be especially suited for you if you are considering creating a diversity, equity, and inclusion-related work group in your organisation.
The workshop guides participants through the following questions and topics in an interactive and engaging way:
What do the terms diversity and inclusion stand for, and which aspects of our identities influence our (work) relationships?
What are the connections between the structural (focusing on the triade of race, gender, and class) and the personal when it comes to creating inclusive organisations and relationshipsI?
How to practice empathy and acknowledging one's biases and assumptions?
How to bridge theory and practice to design own strategies and action plans for more just organisations and relationships?
EMPOWERMENT WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN*
“We are volcanoes. When we women offer our experience as our truth, as human truth, all the maps change. There are new mountains.That's what I want - to hear you erupting.”
― Ursula K. Le Guin
This workshop is an invitation to erupt. Individually and collectively. It is designed as a space for women* to come together, look at who we are, how we became women, and where we can go further. It is designed as a safer space to both share experiences of exclusion, as well as exchange strategies on changing social climates, and empower and inspire oneself and one another. With the help of different self-reflective and creative exercises participants in this workshop explore their stories in a creative way and connect & re-connect to oneself and others.
