Pati Masłowska

I am a Poland-born, Germany-based performance artist, dramaturg, and dreaming practitioner. My work weaves together embodied imagination, sonic ecologies, and astrology. I'm a graduate of the Live Art Forms master's program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, and I draw on backgrounds in literature, linguistics, and contemporary dance to investigate the poetics and politics of perception, communication, and collective experience.

A member of the new visions community for the past three years, I explore how its core principles can support creative processes in performing arts. My intention for new visions is to explore listening as a social, ecological, and inter-species practice that can foster accountability, reciprocity, and deeper forms of collective attention. I also bring an embodied and somatic perspective to the collective's educational and community-building practices.

I am currently pursuing certification with the International Institute for Dreams and Imagination, where I deepen my practice of active imagination as a tool for personal and collective transformation. I believe that imagination is a political and relational capacity: one that enables us to rehearse alternative futures, cultivate resilience, and collectively sense the social change that is waiting to emerge.
